Before Thanksgiving as long as the temperature is below freezing in Maine, the process of cutting, wrapping the Christmas trees tightly starts. Tree farming and providing real Christmas trees to celebrate. Maine, 91 percent wooded. And the farm fields not growing potatoes, dry beans, brocolli, peas, dairy cattle fodder corn, etc are turned in to Christmas tree plantations.
